9/9/2007: Windows Vista now supported in version 2.4

What is SpecAlign?

SpecAlign is a Windows-based software developed for the alignment of multiple mass spectra. More generally it is a tool available free of charge for the visualization and manipulation of multiple mass spectra datasets.

SpecAlign is specifically designed for pre-processing of SELDI and MALDI type clinical proteomics data where there is a requirement for the alignment of each spectrum completely. In practice, SpecAlign may also be used for the analysis of spectral or chromatographic data of any type.

Why use SpecAlign?

As far as we know, there are no other freely available software that is able to perform complete alignment of multiple mass spectra. SpecAlign implements a unique spectrum alignment algorithm that is fast and reliable. Click here for more details about the algorithm.
